Klaus Zellmer, Chairman of the Board of
Management, is leaving the company after
more than four successful years at the brand’s
helm. Since taking oce on 1 July 2022, he has
steered the Czech car manufacturer through
a period of far-reaching transformation,
internationalisation and protable growth.
Klaus Zellmer has informed the Supervisory
Board that he intends to pursue new career
opportunities outside the Volkswagen Group.
Under his leadership, Škoda Auto has greatly
strengthened its position as one of Europe’s most
successful volume brands. The brand rose from
tenth place in the European registration rankings
in 2022 to second place in the rst half of 2026.
At the same time, the company achieved record
results in sales volumes, revenue and protability,
consistently advanced its e-mobility strategy and
accelerated its internationalisation, particularly in
India and Southeast Asia.
Until a successor is appointed, Chief
Financial Ocer Holger Peters will lead the
company on an interim basis.
The Supervisory Board would like to thank
Klaus Zellmer for his great commitment and
his signicant contribution to the continued
development of the Škoda brand.
Peaq:
An interior where you feel right at home
The interior of the new Škoda Peaq electric SUV, designed according to
the Modern Solid philosophy, emphasizes visual simplicity, an airy feel, and
high functionality. At the same time, it features a perfect balance between
modern digitalization and time-tested classics.
Despite its advanced digital features, the car
retains traditional mechanical controls for the
climate system, volume, and other key functi-
ons, making it easier to operate while driving.
Another practical feature is the wireless
charger for two smartphones, equipped with
magnets for a secure hold and a backlighting
showing when charging is in progress.

Klaus Zellmer to leave the company
The infotainment screen is also linked to an armrest that slides
lengthwise and it’s also height-adjustable. However, the armrest can
be retracted to make room for a handy little table that passengers can
assemble from parts hidden in the storage compartment beneath it.
You’ll feel right at home in the Peaq with the Relax package. It includes
electrically adjustable heated seats with a massage function and ocial
AGR ergonomic certication. The package also includes a wellness
app featuring six dierent modes (such as relaxation, stretching, or
recharging).
