    STATEMENT OF THE BOARD OF ŠKODA AUTO
    ABOUT THE CURRENT SITUATION IN UKRAINE
    Dear colleagues,
    We are dismayed by
    the military attack on
    Ukraine and sincerely
    hope for the swift
    cessation of hostilities
    and a speedy return to
    diplomacy following
    international law.
    We are very concerned for the people in Ukraine, especially the
    families of our more than 600 Ukrainian colleagues in the Czech
    Republic and the whole Eurocar team at the Solomonovo factory
    in Ukraine and the headquarters in Kyiv. Our sympathy goes out to
    them during these dicult days. At the same time, our thoughts
    are with our colleagues at Volkswagen Group Rus whose situation
    is also serious.
    There is strength in unity. The Volkswagen Group and its brands
    will be donating one million euros to the UN Refugee Agency;
    ŠKODA AUTO is also contributing to this support.
    Dear colleagues,
    Human is one of our company’s brand values. Now it’s more important than ever to put this
    value into action. Join us in making a contribution and supporting those who need our help.

    In addition, in close alignment with our social partner KOVO, we have decided on the following
    seven specic support measures, which are the rst humanitarian steps we will be taking:

    ŠKODA AUTO will be
    donating 10 million Czech
    crowns (400,000 euro)
    to the Czech not-for-prot
    NGO ‘People in Need’
    (Člověk v Tísni).

    The KOVO MB Trade
    Union will be supporting
    the town of Mladá Boleslav’s
    fundraiser with 1 million
    Czech crowns (40,000 euro).
    At the same time, the Trade
    Union will be rolling out
    other fundraising activities.
    Refugees will also be provided
    with accommodation at
    recreational facilities owned by
    The KOVO MB Trade Union
    and refugee children will be
    oered places at children's
    camps. The KOVO KV and
    KOVO VR Trade Unions will be
    supporting local municipalities
    in Rychnov nad Kněžnou and
    Vrchlabí with other activities.

    If necessary, we will help
    any Ukrainian workers
    to build a safe life in the
    Czech Republic for their
    family. Specically, we will
    assist with visa applications,
    accommodation, language
    courses, health care,
    integration, education and
    ideally, also employment.

    We are grateful that
    our partner towns of
    Mladá Boleslav, Rychnov nad
    Kněžnou and Vrchlabí are
    preparing for the arrival of
    Ukrainian refugees. To cover
    their additional costs, ŠKODA
    AUTO will now provide
    a nancial contribution of
    1 million Czech crowns
    (40,000 euro) for Mladá
    Boleslav and half a million
    Czech crowns (20,000 euro)
    each for Rychnov na Kněžnou
    and Vrchlabí.

    a fundraiser for the hospital
    in the Ukrainian twin town
    of Tiačiv. ŠKODA AUTO will
    be supporting this donation

    ŠKODA AUTO Volkswagen India
    Private Limited (SAVWIPL) has an-
    nounced key appointments to the
    Management Board to strengthen
    the leadership team in India and to
    capitalise on future growth oppor-
    tunities. Christian Schenk, Board
    Member for Finance and IT at ŠKODA
    AUTO will be the new Chairman
    of SAVWIPL. Piyush Arora, as an-
    nounced earlier, joins the Board as
    Managing Director of SAVWIPL and
    Christian Cahn von Seelen will as-
    sume an Executive position on the
    Board of SAVWIPL as Executive
    Director – Sales & Marketing.

    COLLECTIVE
    BARGAINING
    HAS BEEN
    CONCLUDED
    We would like to inform you that
    collective bargaining between
    the ŠKODA AUTO management and
    the KOVO Trade Union has been
    concluded. The contracting parties
    have negotiated a new Collective
    Agreement with a validity period until
    31/3/2026. Furthermore, there have
    been wage agreements concluded
    on raising taris from 1/4/2022,
    on corporate bonuses in 2022
    and on a one-o payment in 2022,
    and agreements pertaining to the
    Set of documents and agreements
    as well as other documents, the
    eectiveness of which would have
    expired on 31/3/2022.

    Following the successful launch of the KUSHAQ SUV, the Czech carmaker is expanding its range with a saloon in
    the A0 segment. Just like the KUSHAQ, the ŠKODA SLAVIA is based on the MQB-A0-IN platform – a variant
    of Volkswagen Group’s modular transverse matrix specially adapted by ŠKODA AUTO for India. The new model
    caters perfectly to the needs of Indian customers, it is equipped with an extensive range of safety features, advanced
    infotainment systems and one of two powerful yet ecient TSI engines with an output of 85 kW (115 PS) or 110
    kW (150 PS).
    The reconstructed ŠKODA 1100 OHC Coupé (1959) will be on
    display at the ŠKODA Museum in Mladá Boleslav until at least
    the end of March 2022. Visitors can also look forward to the special
    exhibition ‘120 Years of ŠKODA Motorsport’ until 20/3/2022.
    It oers insights into the Czech car manufacturer’s successes on
    racetracks and rally courses all over the world. Another special
    exhibition on the successes of ŠKODA vehicles at the legendary
    Monte Carlo Rally runs until the end of April. In Liberec-Vratislavice,
    the Ferdinand Porsche Birth House is displaying a fully functional
    replica of the Auto Union Type C Grand Prix with a sixteen-cylinder
    engine until the end of March.
