    CURRENT MEASURES
    AGAINST COVID-19
    In accordance with government
    regulations and as agreed with the KOVO
    Trade Union, the mandatory use of face
    masks on indoor and outdoor premises
    of ŠKODA AUTO is cancelled with eect
    from Monday, 14/3/2022, 00:00 a.m.
    The mandatory use of face masks con-
    tinues in accordance with government
    regulations in mass and integrated
    transport (including employee bus lines
    organised by ŠKODA AUTO) and in all
    healthcare facilities. Following the lifting
    of respiratory protection obligations, other
    related measures are also removed or modi-
    ed. These changes are described below.
    Additional covid rest
    breaks
    Additional rest breaks are cancelled with
    eect from 15/3/2022, 6:00 a.m.
    Canteens
    Self-service facilities are being expanded in
    canteens. The full seating capacity is availab-
    le in all canteens. A part of the tables will still
    be divided with plexiglass walls for employe-
    es who wish to continue using this option.
    With eect from 15/3/2022, the extraordi-
    nary contribution of CZK 18.00 for sandwi-
    ches is cancelled, and the negotiated service
    fee of CZK 3.50 for reusable food containers
    (REkrabička) is reinstated.
    Daria Hvížďalová, a proven expert in IT and articial
    intelligence with extensive experience in the area of
    manufacturing technology, is the CEO of newly founded
    training institute ‘42 Prague’. In her new role, the main
    goal is passing on her knowledge to up-and-coming
    talents as well as attract new supporters and partners to
    the institute. The focus will be on ensuring the diversity
    of ‘42 Prague’ and the institution’s independence.
    ŠKODA AUTO supports the unique training concept
    as one of the co-founders of the innovative institution.
    Further changes to the measu-

    and business trips.

    the motivational programme
    is still in eect.
    Recording of work
    attendance
    With eect from 15/3/2022, 6:00 a.m.,
    work attendance is recorded by using
    attendance terminals at the workplace.
    Mobile work
    The use of mobile work is in the responsibili-
    ty of the manager per standard regime.

    television. Here, employees

    individual lectures, but creates
    comprehensive and varied
    programmes so that everyone
    consciously chooses the depth
    of information they need
    at the time and thus takes
    responsibility for their own
    education and development.

    Hello,
    There are various ways to help in this
    situation. Of course, you can help by making
    a nancial or material donation to one of
    the humanitarian organizations. However,
    from my point of view, this is not enough.
    The most benecial way is to get actively
    involved. That is why I would like to share
    with you the story of my, in my opinion,
    inspiring wife, who comes from Poland and
    works with one of the organizations that are
    trying to help people aected by the war
    in Ukraine.
    On Friday last week (4/3/2022) we were
    asked by the organization if we could
    accommodate two sisters from Kiev
    between the ages of 30 and 40. Of course
    we agreed. We had dinner together, the
    women told us about their journey from Kiev
    to Prague and the next day my wife helped
    them get to Nuremberg where the women
    were heading.
    On Sunday, the organization called us saying
    that they were short of clothes, bedding
    and food. We immediately drove to the
    designated place and took the necessary
    items with us. On Tuesday evening, another
    call: two adults and two children in Holešovice
    needed warm clothes. It turned out that
    the grandparents and their young
    grandchildren were on holiday in Egypt
    and could not return home. So they ew
    to Prague, wearing summer clothes and
    having their holiday luggage only. We did not
    hesitate to help in this case as well.
    These are only small gestures, but everyone
    can make a dierence. To improve the lives of
    people who are in a situation that is not their
    fault and who need our help. Because we
    never know when we might nd ourselves on
    the other side.

    The system of getting bottles for drinking
    through kiosks and restaurants of the caterer is
    again in operation in 2022. Every core and
    agency employee, including employees of INIS,
    ŠKO-ENERGO and EMERGE, is entitled to 1 free
    bottle per year. The bottle can be obtained as part
    of a complementary sale at a restaurant or kiosk
    by attaching an MFA card to a reader at the cash
    register. If an employee loses or damages his/her
    bottle, he/she can purchase a new one at his/her
    own expense at the free sale.
    Negative news from the world is sometimes all around us –
    on news portals, social networks, from colleagues, friends
    or relatives. Unfortunately, neither we nor our loved ones,
    including our children, can avoid them. How to handle a tense
    situation, how to interpret it and how to come out of it with
    common sense? The Health Services and Ergonomics (SG)
    and Transformation (SX) teams, in collaboration with
    the Agreement Centre (Centrum dohody) and the Locika
    Centre (Centrum Locika), have prepared some
    hints and tips on how to deal
    with the current situation and
    how to explain it to children.
