    Volkswagen Group
    has Sold Its Shares in
    Volkswagen Group Rus
    to a Local Investor
    Dear colleagues,
    Volkswagen Group has completed the sale
    of its shares in Volkswagen Group Rus LLC
    including its local subsidiaries (Volkswagen
    Components and Services LLC, Scania Leasing
    LLC, Scania Finance LLC, Scania Insurance LLC)
    to Art-Finance LLC who is supported by
    the Russian Dealer Avilon.
    With the registration of the transaction,
    ownership of the shares in the authorized capital
    of Volkswagen Group Rus LLC and its subsidiaries
    is transferred from the sellers to the buyer.
    The new owner will acquire all shares in
    the Russian subsidiaries. The deal has been
    approved by the Russian government
    authorities.
    The transaction includes the production facilities
    in Kaluga, the importer structure (distribution
    and after-sales business) and the warehousing
    and nancial services activities with all its
    associated employees.
    The Car for the Clown Doctor
    art contest has its winner.
    The author of original design
    is 8-year-old František Hanko.
    His picture received the most votes in the public vote.
    Now the design will be transformed into a real Škoda
    Enyaq iV car and its ceremonial handover will take place
    during the Day with Škoda Auto at the Zlín Film Festival.

    Český Krumlov
    Škoda Auto Czech Republic is behind
    the rst ever victory of the new
    Škoda Fabia RS Rally competition
    special. The crew of Jan Kopecký/
    Jan Hloušek from Agrotec Škoda
    Rally Team won the 
    th
    Rally Český
    Krumlov. The podium belonged to the
    drivers with Škoda cars. Second place
    went to Jirásek/Machů and third
    place to Cvrček/Prokorát. The young
    drivers of the dealer programme didn’t
    nish this time. Dominik Stříteský was
    stopped by an accident, Adam Březík by
    a technical fault.
    Volunteers from
    FI Škoda Auto Cleaned
    the Forest in Harrachov
    Volunteers from the FI Škoda Auto area
    participated in cleaning up the forest
    in the vicinity of Harrachov-Rýžoviště in
    the Krkonoše Mountains. The event, which
    took place on Saturday,  May, was
    attended not only by internal employees
    but also by their family members.
    The volunteers were removing
    the consequences of a summer storm
    that seriously damaged  thousand
    cubic metres of forest in July .
    The mess had to be cleaned up in order
    to begin rebuilding the forest.

    The Podkrkonoše
    Symphony Orchestra
    Come to the Škoda Museum on  June
    for a unique combination of classical music
    and artistic comedy! The Symphony Orchestra
    with comedian Petr Vydra prepared a perfor-
    mance „Dobrou chuť“ on the borderline
    between the genres of concert and stand-up.
    You will hear interpretations of classical
    composers. Rossini, G. Rossini, G. Smetana,
    V Bellini, but also purely contemporary music.

    seniors have a % discount.

    The Nextbike bike-sharing service
    in Vrchlabí, Rychnov nad Kněžnou
    and Solnice, which is supported by
    the Škoda Auto Foundation in these
    regions, is becoming increasingly popular.
    You can leave your house, get on a bike
    at a nearby station and park it at the
    station or at the shop. Last year, ,
    bikes were rented in Vrchlabí. Popular
    bikesharing also continues in Mnichovo
    Hradiště and Mladá Boleslav.
