The exterior sketches of
the all-electric ŠKODA
VISION 7S concept car depict
a newly designed, striking
front end. The signicantly
wider and atter ŠKODA
grille is dark and closed.
The front headlights, which
have been repositioned far
out to the edge of the vehicle,
are arranged in two rows
one above the other, and
the sharply dened daytime
running light strip above them
extends laterally into the
pronounced wings, extending
the light cluster to form a ‘T’.
The sharply contoured bonnet
cites the well-known ŠKODA
line. The striking, completely
redesigned bumper features
seven vertically arranged
air inlets, with the central
one sporting an insert in eye-catching orange. The lower
apron area is tted with an aluminium underride guard. Large,
aerodynamically optimised wheels emphasise the VISION 7S’s
powerful visual appearance. The side view is dened by clear
surfaces and a gently sloping roof line to the rear.
The new ŠKODA design language reects familiar brand
values, such as robustness, functionality and authenticity,
and stands out with its spacious interior, durable, sustainable
materials and aerodynamic, ecient body.

For vehicles in the ENYAQ iV family with the latest ME3 software,
the charging process can be conveniently started at compatible
charging points simply by connecting the charging cable.
POWERPASS now supports the so called ‘Plug & Charge’ function,
so the car is automatically identied at the charging point. All
upcoming ŠKODA models based on the Volkswagen Group’s Modular
Electrication Toolkit (MEB) will also support this option in the future.

between 18 and 20/8/2022,
ended over the weekend.
Despite the bad weather,
all 7 ŠKODAs that took
part successfully completed
the 582km course and the
aerodynamic-bodied 1940
ŠKODA RAPID OHV,
driven by Michal Velebný
and Andrea Frydlová from
the ŠKODA Museum, also
came in an excellent 2
nd

place in Class 2 (cars from
1931–1946).

environment visited ŠKODA AUTO
This is indeed a novel-like story: 37 years ago,
Bedřich Vicher and his wife Olga bought a RAPID
130 coupe – the top of the range at the time, which
became an indispensable member of the family and
has served the Vichers ever since. Satised customers,
Mr. and Mrs. Vicher, wanted to thank the Kvasiny
plant where their 4-wheel partner was built in 1985.
Although an unexpected sad event made it impossible
for one of the couple to visit the place where the
RAPID 130 coupe was built, Olga Vicherová and
her son and grandson, who are also fans of ŠKODA
models, accepted the oer to visit the “birthplace”
of their RAPID, thus completing what Mrs Vicherová’s
life partner would have wanted so much.
The program began with a presentation by Martin Hrdlička, Head of Chassis and Powertrain Development EP, on the
topic of the automotive industry in relation to legislation, electromobility, reducing emissions and the environment. After
the introductory technical part, the guests had the opportunity to see exhibited cars the ENYAQ iVs and get a glimpse into
history as part of a tour of the ŠKODA Museum. Subsequently, the delegation moved to a tour of the plant, where they
visited the production of battery systems in hall M6 and the assembly of electric cars in hall M13.
On 19/7/2022 took place a visit of the so-called ENVIRONMENT
attachés at ŠKODA AUTO as part of the Czech Presidency of
the Council of the EU.

The car rental is free of charge, with foremen
only bearing the tax cost of this benet.
This limited and one-time event started
at the beginning of May and will run until
mid-October. There are still dates available
in the booking system in which the car can
be rented. This special event is captured in
a video where 5 participants describe their
expectations and rst impressions of the car,
and subsequently their satisfaction with
the electric car.
