We have unveiled the updated Slavia model in India. Based on the locally
developed MQB-A0-IN platform, it ranks among the best-selling saloons
in its segment, with nearly 80,000 units sold to date. It is now available in
a fresh new version with a dynamic look.
The car’s enhanced exterior stands out with all-new LED headlamps
and redesigned LED taillamps with sequential rear indicators; the newly
designed alloy wheels also contribute to its distinctive look. The popular
Monte Carlo trim is available from launch with dual-tone exterior colours,
characteristic black exterior accents and visual cues that pay homage to
Škoda’s rally heritage. A new addition to the proven TSI engine lineup is

Summer holidays, trips, and outdoor activities call for practical solutions for everyday situations. And that’s exactly what you’ll nd in our cars under
the distinctive “Simply Clever” label. The range of features is constantly expanding – for example, electric vehicles now oer functions like Vehicle-to-Load
and Camp Mode, as well as wellbeing functions for the all-new Škoda Peaq. What handy features can you nd in our cars?
Among the best-known features are
certainly the umbrella in the driver’s
door, bottle holders in the doors,
USB-C ports in both the front and
rear, and handy solutions for your
cargo in the trunk – bag hooks, the
net programme, or Cargo elements.
The smart Phone Box helps prevent
phones from overheating during
wireless charging. Rear passengers
have storage pockets at their
disposal, and thanks to the door
compartments, safety vests are
quickly within reach if needed. As
electric mobility develops, Škoda
continues to expand its range of
Simply Clever solutions. One of
the new features is Vehicle-to-Load
(V2L), which uses energy from
the traction battery to power external
electrical devices. The Camp Mode
function is designed for occasional
overnight stays in the vehicle; it
maintains the selected interior
temperature throughout the night
and provides a continuous supply of
fresh air. The optional Relax Package
for the all-new Peaq includes
electrically adjustable and heated
seats with a massage function,
electrically adjustable ergonomic
leg rests and, in Suite interiors, seat
ventilation. The package also includes
a premium Sonos sound system
and a Wellbeing app with six modes.
Comfort is further enhanced by
cushions on the front headrests and
a folding table in the center console.
In the seven-seater version of
the Peaq, the roller boot cover can be
stored under the bonnet. The front
storage compartment also provides
space for charging cables and
a charging-cable cleaner.
an eight-speed torque-converter automatic transmission for
the 1.0 TSI engine. The more powerful 1.5 TSI engine is now equipped
with rear disc brakes. Passenger safety is ensured by, among other things,
six airbags, while maneuvering is made easier by the 360° Area View camera
system. The Rear Seat Massage function provides exceptional comfort on
long trips. Alongside the Kylaq and Kushaq SUVs, the Slavia forms part of
Škoda Auto’s localised ‘made in India, for India’ model portfolio. With its
current model range and geographical position, India also serves as a strategic
hub for the wider ASEAN region, the Middle East and other markets,
underlining the role of India as a second strong pillar for Škoda Auto outside
Europe and its importance to the company’s internationalisation strategy.

Škoda Mobil, the employee newspaper of the Mladá Boleslav-based carmaker, includes special supplements that focus on especially important topics from Škoda's perspective. Supplements can be a part of the newspaper, in the same format as the newspaper, inserted, for example, in the form of a flyer, or they can be stand-alone unique magazines in a specific format, such as supplements dedicated to new models, the brand's historical anniversaries, or other important information from the company's environment.
