In July, changes will be made to the
system for reviewing procedural
and organizational documentation
(POD). This change addresses the
high administrative workload for
managers when assigning PODs and
the overload employees face when
reviewing documents that are often
irrelevant to them. The number of
mandatory PODs is being reduced to
36 documents required by law and for
certication (the rest will be voluntary).
In addition, we are introducing a new
option to conveniently review these
documents via podcasts in the My
POD section or on your mobile device
via Škoda Space – Work Information/
PODcasts. This change will save each
employee an average of ve workdays
per year.
You can look forward to the next
issue on Friday, August 7.

Students at the Škoda Vocational School have
begun preparations for the eleventh Azubi Car.
The upcoming Student Car will pay tribute to
100 years of vocational education at Škoda Auto.
Unlike previous editions, it is being developed over
a two-year period and will be unveiled at the end
of the 2026/2027 academic year.
“Since the launch of the project, we have developed
and elevated the Škoda Student Cars far beyond
the original idea. It has long been about much
more than modifying a car – the students create
a complete concept for a new vehicle. That is where
I see the project’s enormous value: the students
work on it alongside teachers and vocational
training instructors, as well as colleagues from
Škoda Auto, who
provide advice, parts
and vehicles,” said
Martin Slabihoudek,
Head of the Škoda
Auto Vocational
School.

We continue to expand the
use of articial intelligence in
everyday work. Microsoft 365
Copilot opens up completely
new opportunities to work more
eciently, faster and with less
administrative burden.
• Integration directly into
applications:
It is available directly in tools
such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
Outlook and Teams.
• Working with company data:
It can use the content of les the
user has access to, for example
on OneDrive or SharePoint. This
allows it to provide answers and
suggestions based on the real
work context. He is able to work
with company data up to the
“Condential” level.
• Automation of routine
activities:
Recurring tasks such as creating
reports, meeting minutes or
preparing supporting materials
can be completed faster.
• A unied environment for
working with AI:
Instead of switching between
dierent tools, AI assistance is
