of the New Octavia
Raphaël Poissonnier from France is the winner
of a D print models competition organized by
Škoda on the Printables.com platform. Among
other prizes, he also earned a spot at the press
presentation of the new Octavia. In May,
Raphaël joined a group of French journalists
for the rst test drives in Vienna. The route took
participants from Vienna Airport to Moravia,
where he was among the rst to experience
the updated version of Škoda’s bestseller,

Volkswagen India Celebrates
Milestones in Engine and
Vehicle Production
Škoda Auto has inaugurated new facilities
for the Emissions Centre and a brand-
new Simulation Centre in Mladá Boleslav.
Following investments of almost
million, the laboratory will bolster the car
manufacturer’s in-house development
capabilities within the Technical
Development department. The state-
of-the-art technologies allow for the
precise and accurate simulation of a wide
range of climatic conditions, enabling
comprehensive tests that mimic real-world
operations. The new Simulation Centre
houses a laboratory unique in the Czech
Republic and the Volkswagen Group and
is among the most modern facilities of its
kind in Europe.
Since its establishment, ŠAVWIPL has played
a pivotal role in the Indian automotive industry.
The company has now surpassed a remarkable
milestone. Since , when the rst vehicle
– a Škoda Fabia – was produced at the Chakan
plant, more than . million vehicles have
rolled o the production line. These include
iconic Volkswagen Group models such as
the VW Vento and Polo, Škoda Fabia and
Rapid, along with contemporary models based
on the MQB-A-IN platform – VW Taigun
and Virtus, Škoda Kushaq, and Slavia.

As part of its ongoing collaboration with
the Association of Local Governments
of the Czech Republic (SMS ČR),
Škoda Auto has provided three Škoda
Enyaq BEVs to representatives of the
organisation. Two of these will serve
the needs of SMS ČR until at least
the end of the year, supporting a wide
range of its activities that benet local
governments, while the other will go to
a community that was successful in last
year’s ‘Municipality ’ competition.
This partnership is part of Škoda
Auto’s long-term strategy to support
smaller communities and to develop
electromobility across the Czech Republic.

Škoda Mobil, the employee newspaper of the Mladá Boleslav-based carmaker, includes special supplements that focus on especially important topics from Škoda's perspective. Supplements can be a part of the newspaper, in the same format as the newspaper, inserted, for example, in the form of a flyer, or they can be stand-alone unique magazines in a specific format, such as supplements dedicated to new models, the brand's historical anniversaries, or other important information from the company's environment.
