Pay to Fuel for easy payment for
refueling directly from the car
Škoda Auto further expands the range of digital services and
introduces the Pay to Fuel service. After refueling, drivers
can perform payment by credit/debit card on the car‘s
infotainment display. This service is currently available in six
European countries countries. More countries and gas station
networks will be added.
How does Pay to Fuel work?
The stations supporting Pay
to Fuel are listed in the in-
car navigation. After choosing
one of these, the vehicle
automatically recognises
the fuel station upon arrival.
The driver opens the app on
the vehicle’s display, conrms
the petrol station and enters the
pump number. After refuelling,
the amount of fuel is conrmed
on the infotainment screen and
the payment is processed via
debit or credit card. All common
cards are accepted. The driver
then receives a transaction
notication in the MyŠkoda
app and on the vehicle screen
and can pull away. Pay to Fuel is
available for all Škoda ICE model
series sold in European markets.
The service is provided in
collaboration with Mastercard,
Parkopedia and the German
FinTech company called
ryd. Pay to Fuel is currently
available in Belgium, Denmark,
Luxembourg, Germany, Austria,
and Switzerland. Portugal and
Spain will follow soon. There are
also plans to launch the service
in the Czech market.

Škoda ElectroDay took place on November , at STC
Kosmonosy, visitors were attracted by an attractive program focused on
electromobility. Event organizers decided to use a format that prioritized
experience before theory. That was done through an exhibition of
internal departments connected to battery production in Mladá Boleslav.
The visitors could see the entire life cycle of the battery – from its
development to its nal use as energy storage and recyclation.
There was a lot of
interest about a large
