Rebirth of Elegance:
Škoda 1000 MBX as the Crossover of the Future
The legendary coupé Škoda MBX has received a modern interpretation,
combining retro charm with the futuristic Modern Solid design language.
Designers Antti Savio and David Stingl have created a car that retains the friendly
look of the s while oering surprising practicality and technological sophistication.
The interior, featuring a front bench and foldable rear seats, evokes the feeling of
a cinema on wheels, while air suspension and pillarless doors ensure both comfort and
style. The exterior lines draw inspiration from brutalist architecture, referencing
the original model only through subtle details. The result is a concept that is not
a nostalgic return but a condent vision of Škoda’s future.

anniversary
by illuminating the -meter chimney
of the ŠKO-ENERGO heating plant
in the iconic green color.
This symbolic act took
place on October – the
Day of the Establishment
of Independent
Czechoslovakia – and for
the rst time in history lit
up the landmark of
the main plant.
The celebrations were
held in the spirit of
tradition, innovation, and
gratitude to employees,
who form the heart of the
brand. They also marked
years of
ŠKO-ENERGO, a key
partner in the eld of
energy and sustainability.

As part of the
th
anniversary celebrations, the Internal
Communications team, in cooperation with the SP department and
GTH company, is preparing a sweet surprise for all employees.
From calendar week to , you can nd desserts decorated with
special chocolate coins featuring jubilee motifs in kiosks, cafés, and
restaurants across all production plants.
You can also take a photo with your colleagues in an AI photo
booth, which we are gradually setting up in all Škoda Auto plants in
cooperation with KOVO Trade Union and the SX team. The photo
booth will use articial intelligence to transport you into the past.
