Škoda Auto Employee Gathering
When and where will the Employee Gatherings take place?
The KOVO Trade Union, in cooperation with Škoda Auto, is organizing company-wide Employee Gatherings at the plants in Mladá Boleslav, Vrchlabí,
and Kvasiny. The gatherings will take place exclusively in person.
What will the program
of the event be?
The Employee Gatherings
will include speeches by the
Chairman of the Works Council
and the Council of Chairmen
of the KOVO Trade Union,
Mr. Jaroslav Povšík, the
Chairmen of the KOVO Trade
Union in Vrchlabí and Kvasiny,
Holger Peters, acting chairman
of the Škoda Auto Board of
Directors, and Maren Gräf,
Škoda Auto Board Member for
People & Culture.
Will I be
compensated for
attending
the gathering?
Yes, the time spent at
the gathering will be
compensated for both
employees whose scheduled
shifts are aected by the
gathering and those who do
not have a scheduled shift
but actively participate in the
gathering (by passing through
the gate). Employees with
exible work schedules will
participate in the gathering
as part of their work hours.
We will provide detailed information on the specic
locations of the company meetings in future issues
of the Weekly.
Who can attend the
Employee Gathering?
Production will be suspended
between : and :
for Mladá Boleslav and
between : and : for
Kvasiny and Vrchlabí, so
that all employees have
the opportunity to arrive
at the gatherings on time
and return to their workplaces
once it is over. During the event,
please do not schedule any
meetings for your colleagues
so that every employee who is
interested can attend.
How will participants
get to the main
location in Mladá
Boleslav?
In Mladá Boleslav, a convenient
bus connection has been
prepared for employees
to easily move from their
workplace to the venue.
Company vehicles will not be
permitted to enter the Mladá
Boleslav plant. Therefore, please
do not plan any trips to the
main plant at this time; instead,
use the shuttle bus service
to get to the assembly point.
We will provide detailed
information on the individual
bus routes in the next issue
of Týdeník.
