Work on repairing Václav Klement Avenue in Mladá Boleslav is scheduled to begin in early October. On 5 September
2024, the Central Bohemian Region Council approved that the section will be repaired by the consortium TVK COLAS
and H-Intes for 227 million CZK. This is a joint project of the regional road maintenance authority, the town, and
the Mladá Boleslav Water and Sewerage Company. The repairs will cover a 1.14-kilometre stretch from the Bondy
Centre to the intersection with 17. listopadu Street.
Work on one of the most important trac arteries in Mladá Boleslav, which runs alongside the main Škoda Auto plant,
will take over two years and will span approximately three construction seasons. As soon as more details
and construction dates are known, the town will share them on its website.

Last week, CEO Klaus Zellmer responded to
the information published by the Volkswagen
Group during an extraordinary management
meeting. He assured them that Škoda Auto,
as part of the Brand Group Core, is performing
above average, and there are currently no new
personnel measures planned for the Czech
automaker beyond those already communicated
as part of the Next Level Eciency+ programme.

First Exterior Sketches of
the All-New Compact SUV
In celebration of World EV Day, observed globally
on 9 September, Škoda Auto has revealed new
details about its entirely new model, the Elroq,
the brand’s rst production car featuring its
Modern Solid design language.
The rst exterior sketches oer a glimpse of
the striking design, showcasing a new front with
Škoda lettering, Tech-Deck Face, and Matrix-LED
headlights integrated into a bold front bumper.
Additional highlights include design elements
in Dark Chrome and a new Elroq-exclusive body
colour, Timiano Green.
