Those interested can get to know Škoda cars not only at the brand's dealerships, but also in digital
form with the help of mixed reality. Fans can now explore the Epiq model this way, for example.
Most recently, we are oering an application for the Apple Vision Pro and Meta Quest mixed
reality headsets. The Škoda Virtual Experience app currently allows a tour of two electric models
on these headsets: the Elroq and the Epiq. Users can use the headset's camera to place the car
into their surroundings, allowing them to see it, for example, directly in their living room or garage.
With the headset on, it is possible to walk around the vehicle, open the doors, look into the luggage
compartment, or change the conguration.
Since the Apple Vision Pro and Meta Quest headsets are not yet mass-market devices, we are
choosing other ways to bring the virtual experience to the widest possible audience. As a result,
you can also explore Škoda cars on your own mobile phone – simply scan the QR code or
open the app on your phone using this link.
The selected vehicle appears as a highly detailed 3D model, which can be
explored down to the smallest detail from both the exterior and interior. Utilizing
the phone's built-in camera, the app also allows users to place the vehicle directly
into their surroundings.
For the second year, Škoda Auto is
an ocial partner of the UCI Mountain
Bike World Championships, taking
place at the Italian mountain resort
of Val di Sole from 26 to 30 August.
More than 800 riders from over
50 countries will compete for 17 UCI World
Championship titles across ve disciplines.
Škoda Auto is showcasing its full range of
all-electric models – the Peaq, Epiq, Enyaq
and Elroq – along the courses and in the
fan zones. The car manufacturer has also
designed the ‘hot seat’ for the current
downhill leader. The popular Enyaq mobile
café will also be on site. Additionally, Škoda
Auto is running competitions with attractive
prizes for mountain bike fans on its
WeLoveCycling.com platform.
A total of 6,402 of you participated in this year’s Employee Catering Satisfaction Survey, which was conducted in cooperation with Škoda Auto, GTH
and the KOVO Trade Union. Most respondents voted online. An interesting finding is that price is not one of the main factors when choosing a meal.
Employees primarily make their choice based on taste, variety and the overall range of dishes available. The survey also included open-ended feedback,
which helps us better focus the further development of catering services. The topics mentioned most frequently included menu rotation, the availability
of meals throughout the entire day, including afternoon and night shifts, portion sizes, the organisation of meal distribution and the smoothness of service.
These suggestions are continuously evaluated and serve as an important basis for further improvements.
