Škoda Weekly 29/2026
in the Enyaq
240
The Auto.cz website published an article by journalist
Martin Vaculík from Svět Motorů, who tested an ex-
tremely high-mileage Škoda Enyaq 80 in the initial
Founders Edition, of which only 1,895 units were
produced. How well does this popular electric car
hold up against wear and tear? The owner lent the
car for testing, and Martin Vaculík drove it to Mladá
Boleslav to meet with a team of Škoda experts.
Perhaps the most interesting feature of the MEB plat-
form is that the chassis experiences virtually no wear
k
km
and tear. Although the curb weight ranges from 2,100
to 2,250 kg, even after 300,000 km, the chassis typically
remains completely free of play. A huge surprise was
the excellent condition of the traction battery, whose
capacity had dropped by only 13% over 240,000 km
and ve years. It’s important to note, however, that not
all Enyaqs—or electric vehicles in general—fare this well.
In this case, activating Battery Care mode helped, as the
owner charges the vehicle only to 80%. Only on rare
occasions does the owner charge the battery to afull
100%. And most of the energy that owed through the
battery came from an 11 kW home wallbox, not from
DC fast charging on the road or at public stations.

Dont forget to label your AI content!
From August 2
, new requirements under
the EU AI Act
become
applicable, introducing transparency obligations that, in certain cases,
require disclosure of the use of AI.
When does content need to be labelled? Labelling is generally required
where image, video, or audio content has been generated or signicantly
modied using AI and may appear real or authentic to an average viewer.
The rules apply equally to both external and internal use. Typical examples
include: AI-generated realistic photographs, AI-generated videos,
synthetic voices or AI voice-overs, signicant AI modications that
alter the overall meaning or context of the content.
What does not need to be labelled? Image quality enhancement,
noise reduction, technical adjustments that do not change the mean-
ing of the content, changes to backgrounds or environments, provided
that they do not alter the meaning of the product or the message
perceived by the customer.
How should the label look?
AI icon (in the image above),
AI generated“ for AI-generated content,
AI modied“ for content that has been signicantly modied using AI.
The label must be clear, visible, and available at the rst point of expo-
sure to the content.
If you are unsure, ask yourself two questions: Does the content look
real? Was it created or signicantly modied using AI? If the
answer to both questions is yes, the content should be labelled.

Rally Finland: Fourth Victory for
Estonian Crew
Estonians
Robert Virves and his co-driver Jakko Viilo, driving
aŠkoda Fabia RS Rally2
, continue their awless winning streak.
Atthe Rally Finland, they
celebrated their fourth
victory
in the
WRC2 category in four points-scoring events. Thanks to the
maximum 100 points, they moved to the top of the drivers’ and
co-drivers’ standings. Just as in the previous Rally Estonia, a battle
between Estonian and Finnish crews erupted in the Finnish round.
Two Finnish crews–Teemu Suninen and Janni Hussi in their Toyota
GR Yaris Rally2–nished second, while Lauri Joona and Antti
Linnaketo in a Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 came in third.
After the Finnish Rally, Robert Virves leads the WRC2 drivers’
standings with a21-point lead over Roope Korhonen, whose run in
the Finnish Rally ended when his car rolled over. However, Teemu
Suninen could pose a real threat to the Estonian in the ght for the
championship title. The Finn is currently third overall after nishing
second at the Rally Finland. At the end of August, the crews will
compete in the Rally Paraguay.
