The 113
th
edition of the Tour de France kicked o
on Saturday with the Grand Départ ceremony in
Barcelona, Spain. This marks our 23
rd
year as the
race’s main partner. We are unveiling our new all-
electric models, the Škoda Epiq and Škoda Peaq,
to the public here for the rst time. Our top-of-
the-line model serves as Race Director Christian
Prudhomme’s ‘Red Car’ on 12 of the 21 stages.
For the remaining stages, he rides in a plug-in
hybrid Superb iV. We provide the organisers
with up to 225 vehicles, continue its long-
standing sponsorship of the green jersey and
supply trophies for the winners of the individual
classications. We are also the main partner of
the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift for
the fth time.
The director’s special vehicle is based on
the Peaq 90x Sportline, with a series of
modications. The special vehicle is equipped
with a sophisticated communications system and
six radio antennas. The communications centre’s
control unit and battery pack are located in
the luggage compartment, in the area where the
third row of seats would normally be found in
the seven-seat Peaq. The greatest challenge for
the development team was the opening panoramic
roof. In standard form, it opens from front to
rear, but the director’s car requires the opposite
arrangement. As a result, the roof of the Peaq
received a module taken from another vehicle.
However, it was installed after being rotated by
180 degrees. Even the seven-seat Peaq, designed
as a mobile headquarters, oers only four seats.
Race director sits behind the driver, the centre rear
seat is replaced by a special console containing
a table and refrigerator, and the seat behind the
front passenger is reserved for distinguished guests.

On Friday, June 26, our new digital assistant ŠkoPilot
was successfully launched. This new assistant, located in
the lower-right corner of Škoda Space, will support you in
your daily work – whether you're looking for information,
navigating internal topics, or trying to simplify routine tasks.
ŠkoPilot is familiar not only with Škoda Space, but with a wide
range of internal areas – from processes and HR topics to
practical questions you deal with every day. He’s your go-to
partner who connects knowledge from across the company
and aims to deliver answers as quickly and simply as possible.
Feel free to ask him about the daily menu, the weather,
or details about applications – and he will keep getting better
over time.
ŠkoPilot is here!

the Křižík Pavilions
at the Prague
Exhibition Grounds.
One more important
thing at the end –
