To enhance IT security, Microsoft
365 services within the VW Group
will be transitioning to a more
secure login method called strong
authentication, which will now be
mandatory. This change will be
rolled out to each user individually.
Each user will be informed about the
transition via email with the latest
possible activation date by which you
must prepare your mobile device
(if you use it for M365 applications).
Password login will remain available
after the transition, but it will now
be supplemented by second
factor (PKI certicate, Microsoft
Authenticator, Windows Hello for
Business). If you use a company
mobile phone or BYOD, migration
to MS Intune is required.
Jarda from FIC has always been a great
athlete. Last fall, however, his life changed
in an instant. After a serious accident,
he became paralyzed from the waist
down. Thanks to his tremendous ghting
spirit, perseverance, and the support of
his loved ones, however, he managed to
return to normal life, and he will even be
returning to work soon.
Jarda is an athlete in body and soul,
and he has no intention of giving up
spending time outdoors. To function
as independently as possible he needs
reliable equipment. That is why
a fundraiser was launched on the platform
znesnáze21 with support from
the Škoda Auto Endowment fund.
The proceeds will go toward purchasing
a mechanical wheelchair with a rigid
frame and a special electric drive, which
will allow him to move safely.
Just eleven crews competed for WRC2
points during Rally Japan, seventh round of
the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC).
Emil Lindholm from Finland and Brazilian
co-driver Gabriel Morales brought their
Toksport WRT-run Škoda Fabia RS Rally2
home in fourth position in WRC2.
Japanese veterans Osamu Fukunaga/
Misako Saida (Škoda Fabia RS Rally2) nish
home event fth in the WRC Masters Cup
classication.
Rally Japan was the last tarmac round of
the 2026 FIA World Rally Championship.
Acropolis Rally Greece (25–28 June)

events that make up the second half of the

This year's IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship
concluded on Sunday, with the host Swiss team
facing o the Finnish national team in
the nal. In the end, it was the Finnish players
who celebrated the 1-0 victory in overtime.
The Czech team's tournament came to an
end in the quarternals after a 1-4 loss to Finland.
During the closing ceremony, Maren Gräf,
Board Member for People & Culture,
presented the Most Valuable Player award to
Switzerland’s defender Roman Josi. Since
2018, the trophy has been created by the Škoda
Design team, who has once again incorporated
elements of the car manufacturer’s Modern Solid
design language. Holger Peters, Board Member
for Finance, IT & Legal Aairs, presented the
bronze medals to the Norwegian players.
