Thanks to Škoda Volunteers, who rode km
on a specially adapted handbike, , CZK was
raised for the organization Cesta za snem, which
helps people with disabilities. The Škoda
Handy event took place in the second half of
May in collaboration with Cesta za snem as part
of the European Diversity Month. Volunteers
completed -meter circuits on the handbike,
which enables active movement for people
with musculoskeletal disabilities. The event also
featured an inspiring lecture titled “Life with
a Handicap,“ where personal stories of people
with disabilities were shared, including one from
a Škoda Auto employee. Thanks to the
participation of volunteers and support from
the Škoda Auto Endowment Fund, an amount
of , CZK was raised, which the fund
subsequently doubled to , CZK.

As part of the European Diversity Month,
a diverse program lled with inspiration,
education, and entertainment was prepared
to support our eorts towards an inclusive
and respectful work environment. Discussions
and lectures focused on intergenerational
cooperation, diversity as a competitive
advantage, mental health, and inclusive
language. Inspiring stories from colleagues
included women's journey to management,
living abroad, and the challenges faced by
caregivers. The main event was Diversity
Day, featuring the premiere of the special
edition Elroq Respectline, an exhibition
opening on Diversity & Inclusion, workshops,
and competitions. European Diversity
Month served as a reminder that diversity
represents strength, inspiration, and creates
an environment where everyone can feel
welcome.

Measures for Warm
Days and Hydration
From June to August, based on
an agreement with the KOVO
union, a range of products that
contribute to body hydration is
prepared. All internal and agency
employees receive one free
hydration bottle per year on their
MFA card, which can be picked up
at factory restaurants and kiosks.
Sodobars provide unlimited chilled
water year-round, and all employees
are entitled to dl of soda daily for
free. During this period, vegetable
and fruit salads are also available at
a favorable price.
The allowance for electrolyte drinks is increased to
a limit of CZK/month during the summer months.
