Last year’s event at Ještěd met
with great interest from the
cycling community, prompting the
transformation of Road Classics into
a series of races. This year, fans of quality
road cycling can look forward to three
impressive competitions that will take
participants to prominent locations
across dierent regions of the Czech
Republic. Škoda Auto joins the series
as the ocial mobility partner and will
be represented at all events.
Today, aerodynamics is one of the key
topics in the development of new cars,
signicantly aecting fuel consumption
and, in the case of electric vehicles,
the range per charge. For the Škoda brand,
the quest for the most aerodynamic shapes
is nothing new.
Today’s aerodynamics experts examined
three specials that set the direction in
aerodynamics decades ago — in the hall
of the Škoda Museum, they explored
the Škoda Dynamic from ,
Škoda Popular Monte Carlo from ,
the Škoda Rapid OHV from . Can
solutions from years ago still provide
inspiration today?

A total of guests from three dierent
continents attended. We proudly welcomed
supplier companies, as well as internal
colleagues from Škoda Auto and the
Volkswagen Group.
The main focus of the meeting was on
the automaker’s strategy, with the primary
strategic intent remaining to oer customers
the best choice among combustion engine
vehicles, fully electric vehicles, and hybrids based
on their preferences.
