Since 2015, we have been participating in the nationwide “Let’s
Clean Up Czechia” initiative, in which our employees volunteer to
help collect litter in the natural areas surrounding our plants. This
year, 175 employees participated. With the support of the KOVO
Trade Union and in cooperation with local conservationists, they
collected a total of 7 tons of waste. This is one of many corporate
social responsibility initiatives undertaken by the automaker, which,
in addition to environmental protection, includes support for
technical education, trac safety, and social and health services.
Sosnová Classic in the spirit of celebration
The grand celebration of Škoda Motorsport’s 125
th
anniversary continued on Saturday, May 16, with
the Sosnová Classic event. A number of famous factory drivers arrived at the Sosnová racetrack near Česká
Lípa, including John Haugland and Andreas Mikkelsen. The long history of Mladá Boleslav motorsport was
also highlighted by an exhibition of more than ten iconic race cars, ranging from the Laurin & Klement FC
(1908) to the 2019 Fabia Rally2 evo rally car, driven by the youngest world champion, Kalle Rovanperä.
The presentation was complemented by the current Fabia RS Rally2 and Enyaq RS Race models. You can nd
the complete results on the event website, and a photo gallery will be available there soon.

In mid-April, a new accident and damage reporting
feature within the MyŠkoda App was successfully
launched on the Czech market. The new feature
introduces a simple and intuitive way for customers
to report vehicle damage, accidents, or glass damage
directly to their preferred service partner. Using the
mobile application, users can easily provide essential
information such as the extent of the damage, time, location, and supporting
photos or documents. In addition to immediate reporting, the service also
stores a complete history of all damage events recorded via the MyŠkoda
App. This includes cases previously reported through Škoda Roadside
Assistance, whether via the call center or other support channels.
Customers therefore gain a clear overview of all incidents
associated with their vehicle in one place.
