New IT hub in the Czech Republic:
Škoda Auto and VWITS Strengthen
Strategic Partnership
Volkswagen Group Technology Solutions India (VWITS) is
opening a regional oce in Prague in cooperation with Škoda
Auto. The new facility will strengthen collaboration and create
new links with specialists in India, where VWITS operates
one of its largest global IT centres. The strategic partnership and
further development of in-house expertise underline Škoda Auto’s
eorts towards advancing digitalisation, a cornerstone of the Next
Level – Škoda Strategy .
The launch of the new IT hub connects local experts and Group
professionals and serves as a bridge between the Czech
Republic and India. The Volkswagen Group, through its subsidiary
VWITS, operates one of its largest global IT centres in the South
Asian country and employs over , computing specialists.
Starting mid-March, applications for state support for
purchasing electric vehicles and charging devices are open.
It applies to new and nearly new electric vehicles with
a purchase price up to ,, CZK excl VAT. This means that
all versions of the Škoda Enyaq model series are eligible.
The maximum grant amount has been set at , CZK for
an electric vehicle and up to , CZK for a charging
device, depending on its output.
April is the month when people all
across the Czech Republic unite in
the battle against litter and waste.

The traditional volunteer clean-
up event ‘Let’s Clean Up the
Czech Republic’ kicks o in early
April, aiding nature in getting rid
of accumulated rubbish and other
mess. In cooperation with the KOVO
union, Škoda Auto has supported
this initiative for eight years now, and
Škodians have helped clear public
spaces of several tonnes of waste,
becoming an integral part of this

Škoda Mobil, the employee newspaper of the Mladá Boleslav-based carmaker, includes special supplements that focus on especially important topics from Škoda's perspective. Supplements can be a part of the newspaper, in the same format as the newspaper, inserted, for example, in the form of a flyer, or they can be stand-alone unique magazines in a specific format, such as supplements dedicated to new models, the brand's historical anniversaries, or other important information from the company's environment.
