This year marks the 
th
anni-
versary of two iconic names from
the Mladá Boleslav automaker:
the Octavia and Felicia. These
vehicles were rst presented to
the public at the Geneva Motor
Show in March , and
subsequently in Leipzig. Both model
names have carved out their place
in the brand’s current era. Launched
in , the modern Škoda Octavia
has attracted over seven million
customers in more than  markets
across its four generations.

What’s up, Škoda?
Škoda Auto has launched a brand-
new communication channel
on WhatsApp to share all the
carmaker’s important news, as well
as photos, videos, polls, and quizzes.
WhatsApp Channels are used by
over  million people globally.
Users simply switch from their
private chats by tapping the
‘Channels’ icon and then searching
for What’s up, Škoda?’. You can
also opt in to receive notications
of new posts.

This year’s rst ‘Early Bird Breakfast’ – a gathering
of senior Škoda Auto managers– took place at Café
Restaurant Václav with Thomas Schäfer, CEO of the
Volkswagen Passenger Cars brand and Volkswagen
Group Board Member for the Brand Group Core (BGC).
While the previous meeting focused on the BGC’s
strategic importance for Škoda Auto and the
Czech brand’s role within this group, this time the
discussion shifted towards the current situation in the
automotive industry and on shared markets. Under
the overarching topic of ‘What if...?’, the participants
also reected on potential sudden challenges and
solutions to them.
The Škoda Enyaq electric eet’s
venture through Morocco was
nothing short of remarkable,
journeying from a unique solar power
plant to the world’s most famous
desert. Take a look for yourself!
Škoda Auto has ocially opened the renovated spaces dedicated to teaching skills focused on electromobility
and digitalisation at its Škoda Academy training centre. The modernisation was completed in a record time of
just seven months. The new facilities will contribute to expanding the educational oerings of the Škoda Auto
Vocational School of Engineering and to enhancing employees’ expertise, which will be crucial for the ongoing
transformation of the automotive industry.

Škoda Mobil, the employee newspaper of the Mladá Boleslav-based carmaker, includes special supplements that focus on especially important topics from Škoda's perspective. Supplements can be a part of the newspaper, in the same format as the newspaper, inserted, for example, in the form of a flyer, or they can be stand-alone unique magazines in a specific format, such as supplements dedicated to new models, the brand's historical anniversaries, or other important information from the company's environment.
