A new study conrms that dogs feel more
relaxed and bark less when travelling in electric
vehicles. Veterinary surgeon Dr Scott Miller
found that dogs’ heart rates are lower in electric
cars, indicating reduced stress levels compared
to diesel and petrol vehicles. A survey of ,
drivers also revealed that many dogs experience
stress when travelling in cars, inuencing owners’
decisions when choosing a new vehicle.
