Vrchlabí introduces
the biggest change
logistics system

Škoda Auto is transforming its
logistics processes to a uniform
system under a Group-wide project
called Project Project ONE Log.
A new, standardised SAP solution
will replace a large variety of existing systems. The Company thus consistently uses
digitisation and centralisation to leverage potential for cost savings and increased exibility
in production & logistics. The project is the largest system changeover at the Vrchlabí
plant over the last  years. Vrchlabí is the rst race concern outside Germany where this
system was introduced.

Sales and Marketing, was one of the guests on January ,
 the program Otázky Václava Moravce on
Czech Television. With Marian Jurečka, Deputy Prime
Minister and Minister labor and social aairs, and Josef
Středula, chairman Czech-Moravian Confederation of
Trade Unions, they discussed the development of
the economy in the Czech Republic and the EU, the
impacts energy prices for households and companies
or about the situation on the market work.

Škoda Auto announces the integration of
the AI-based chatbot ChatGPT into its
Laura voice assistant. This important
step will enhance the in-vehicle
experience of many customers and
help to make everyday life easier. Škoda
models based on MEB GP and MQB
EVO platforms will benet from this new
feature. They will be able to access a vast
AI database and have content read out
to them while driving. This new function
is powered by Cerence Chat Pro from
technology partner Cerence Inc., oering
a unique, automotive-grade ChatGPT
integration. Personal data and vehicle
information are protected at all time.
Integration of articial
intelligence into
the Laura voice assistant
The Brand Group Core got down to work
once again: Board Members of  high-
volume brands VW, Škoda, Seat, Cupra
and VW Commercial Vehicles met in
advance of the Group Connect event in
Berlin. The aim of the one-day workshop
was to evaluate this year’s work in the
brand group‘s core elds (“Core Drivers”)
and to dene binding steps and measures
for the coming year on the basis of these
results.
Ambitious Performance Programmes
will be implemented in all high-volume
brands in  – above all, of course for
the Volkswagen brand with the target of
a . per cent return on sales and an
eciency boost of  billion euros in
. The Brand Group Core has even
agreed on a return target of  per cent

Škoda Mobil, the employee newspaper of the Mladá Boleslav-based carmaker, includes special supplements that focus on especially important topics from Škoda's perspective. Supplements can be a part of the newspaper, in the same format as the newspaper, inserted, for example, in the form of a flyer, or they can be stand-alone unique magazines in a specific format, such as supplements dedicated to new models, the brand's historical anniversaries, or other important information from the company's environment.
