TVK Reconstruction Continues In 2026
Reconstruction works of Václav Klement Avenue (TVK) will continue after the winter break on 2 March 2026. In this next phase, TVK will be closed in the section from
Gate 8 to 17. listopadu Street. Passage from Gate 8 towards U Stadionu Street will still be open. From LKK and Gate 11, passage straight ahead to Jana Palacha Street
will also be maintained.

From 2 to 30 March, it will be possible to enter and exit the parking lot at Gate 11 towards Jana Palacha Street.
From 31 March to 14 June, a new temporary road will connect the parking lot at Gate 11 to 17. listopadu Street. At the same time, it will be possible to drive from the parking lot
towards Gate 8. However, this passage will be reserved exclusively for Škoda Auto employees and visitors to the Laurin & Klement Kampus (LKK).
Throughout the closure of this section of TVK, the pedestrian corridor at Gate 11 towards Jana Palacha Street can be used.
From 15 June, TVK will once again be open to motor vehicle traffic along its entire length from 17. listopadu Street to Severovýchodní tangenta (North-Eastern Tangent).
From 15 June to 4 October 2026, the branch of the intersection at Gate 8 towards U Stadionu Street will be closed for work on network relocations and modifications to the
intersection itself.
From 4 October 2026 to 30 July 2027, minor finishing works on sidewalks, bike paths, and landscaping are planned. These, however, should not significantly affect car traffic on
TVK.
The reconstruction of Václav Klement Avenue is a long-term project of the city of Mladá Boleslav and the Central Bohemian Region. It began on 15 March 2025, and its purpose is to
increase traffic safety and flow with the help of directional separation, as well as to increase its capacity to and from Škoda Auto.
